Sunday Worship

Worship Style
At Oak Valley, we believe that worship is a heartfelt response to God's love and grace—a sacred time to gather, reflect, and rejoice in His presence. Our music includes traditional and contemporary hymns, often expressed in the different languages of our congregation and its diverse cultures. Part of our worship service also has responsive readings for the congregation to read aloud together. Rooted in reformed doctrine, our beliefs guide everything from preaching and music to our prayers, confessions, and sacraments.
Gospel-centered preaching
We are committed to preaching that is both faithful to biblical truth and winsome to the hearts of seekers and believers alike. We proclaim the historic gospel with clarity, depth, and conviction, while speaking in a way that thoughtfully engages the questions, hopes, and struggles of real people. Our aim is to reveal the beauty of Christ and the transforming grace of God, offering truth that challenges and hope that invites.
Children's discipleship
We run a children's discipleship program for kids 3-10 years of age. Children are also welcome to stay and worship with their parents. We welcome the sight and sounds of our families participating in worship together.
Fellowship
We hope that you will join us after the worship service for coffee, cookies, and conversation. We would love to meet you and get to know you better.
Sermon Series:
Matthew 8 - 10
Rediscover Jesus, the Man with power over sickness, demons, nature, sin, and death. He brings the hope of God’s kingdom into broken lives and then sends His disciples into the world to proclaim that same hope. Calling us to follow Him in costly discipleship and compassionate mission.
